Maybe this sounds familiar?
You have a new team
Behaviours aren't values led
People aren't aligned with strategy or vision
People can't even agree on what matters most, right now
The effect of any leadership training ends at the classroom door...
This is when you need TRANSFORMATION
Not training, not more information.
Transformation is life changing.
Transformation shifts teams to become who they want to become - it's an identity shift.
Transformation makes achieving your aspirations - the thing you actually value - a reality.
Transformation is a series of experiences, which create the conditions under which you're transforming yourself, continually. It doesn't stop when the facilitator leaves the room.
Transformation is the highest stage of economic value!

Transformational Leadership By Design
TLBD is my signature offering:
There are three core elements to TLBD:
Self leadership - leadership starts with you, inside out. Here we address what most leadership development completely ignores: the inner work that makes outer impact possible. And when we explore the inner work of leadership together, the learning becomes richer, integrated.
Leadership alignment - same team, same page. Here we co-create vision, values and strategy- or revisit what we already have in place and the elephants in the room that prevent us from moving towards this, together.
Leadership rhythm - connection, flow. Here we establish a cadence to our gatherings, our communications, our reflection and integration. This is all possible now because you're showing up as the leader you choose to be + feeling connected, aligned + supported with and by your team.
What does a transformation experience look & sound like?
I design + facilitate bespoke experiences which result in transformation:
to harvest collective wisdom, align on priorities and produce actionable outcomes
to enable psychological safety at a speed and scale that is profoundly powerful
to reveal and deepen individual insights and foster meaningful connection in the process
This is the most meaningful and transformational experience available, because the outcomes are co-created. This is not me on the stage, this is me facilitating the conversations that matter most, leveraging collective wisdom and maximising connection and trust throughout.
I don't do power point.
I don't rely on morning tea break for real conversation and connection to happen.
And I'm totally at ease having to adjust my delivery style, content or rhythm to accommodate what is 'present' inside a session. It's all welcome.
When we dare to share and care, sessions become rich in stories and examples, sharing and discussions, And this builds psychological safety (#1 factor required for effective teams) and connection.
Min 4 pax, max 16 pax | transformation is a series, not a one-off
Examples of transformational experiences
that address what matters most
I design and facilitate in a way that turns passive experiences into moments of learning, connection and belonging and tap into the collective intelligence of the group, transforming diverse (awesome) perspectives into aligned, actionable outcomes. Examples of the types of experiences I create, which when bundled create a Transformational Leadership By Design offering, include:
Co-creating a shared purpose or vision - your WHY
Refreshing or starting from scratch with values, getting buy in - part of your HOW
Co-creating strategy - what its going to take to deliver on vision - the WHAT
Agreeing strengths or gifts to be nurtured + protected no matter what changes
Addressing an issue - elephant in the room - in a constructive and uniting way
Studying our most positive experiences of leadership + teamwork which shapes what we build and move towards ourselves
Setting the scene for How The Team chooses to work together
Aligning around priorities: identifying the fires, risks, distractions and passions
And perhaps MOST IMPORTANTLY, after all that amazing mahi:
Establishing a rhythm for your team, so reflection, support and integration all becomes The Way You Are. Not something you are forced to do.
"Rhonda is a skilled, compassionate, and dynamic facilitator who effortlessly puts all strategic planning participants at ease. She has a natural ability to unite the group around a shared vision, keeping the focus on meaningful outcomes and a future direction that is both inspiring and practical. Quick-thinking and calm under pressure, Rhonda creates a productive, energising space where ideas flow and everyone feels engaged.".
– Jennifer Calley, CEO, Interactionz
"Whilst some consultants have good content, Rhonda goes further by curating great content based on lived experiences together with a sense of deep personal care she brings to those she works closely with. Her highly tuned facilitation skills enable her to customise programs and interventions with a real lasting impact for her clients. Great facilitators like Rhonda can read the room and adapt delivery on the spot to ensure content covered has a better chance of being embedded into practice for the people she's working with, rather than being just heard and then forgotten".
– Simon Wickham, (ex) CEO Harkness Henry Lawyers
"Rhonda facilitated a two day strategic direction setting hui with the Waikato District Council executive leadership team at very short notice. I was nervous as she and I had only 1 conversation on what I hoped to achieve.
Rhonda worked with our People and Capability executive manager over a few days and I provided documents for context. The outcome was excellent due in no small part to Rhonda’s fantastic facilitation skills. She seamlessly led us through a clear and collaborative process that allowed everyone to contribute in a respectful, honest and safe way.
I thoroughly recommend Rhonda and Our Minds Matter (NZ).
– Craig Hobbs – CEO Waikato District Council
"I have to say its one of the most valuable experience of its type I have ever had. Rhonda's wit, wisdom and ability to intuit things and steer conversations in the right direction is second to none".
– John Luxton, Regeneration HQ
Does any of this sound familiar?
Mindfulness
Positive Psychology
Neuroscience
Substance of My Mahi
Vulnerability
is the #1 requirement for connection and trust (Brene Brown)
Psychological safety
is the #1 pathway to effective teams (Google's Aristotle Project plus more...)
Emotional intelligence
is the #1 skill being looked for in leaders (SixSeconds plus more...)
Mindfulness (or conscious leadership)
is the #1 tool for stress reduction (anyone who has ever practiced mindfulness - plus research!)
That's why I use neuroscience + research, and the research backed tools of conscious leadership, mindfulness + positive psychology to inform all of my work.
Because whether you're a leader of a family, 10 or 10,000 people, you're a human first and foremost.
Which means you have INFLUENCE on everyone around you and everything inside of you, whether you're aware of it or not! Your reactions, emotions, fears, self limiting beliefs and your view of the world cannot NOT have influence.
This may be the best 2 hour investment you ever make!
The MOST TRANSFORMATIONAL way to improve our influence + leadership - AND cost effective way to 'see me in action'.
Is 1:1 Leadership coaching
the best option
for you?
Or someone
in your
team?
Yes I facilitate transformational experiences, workshops + group coaching, but the impact of 1:1 coaching can also have a profound impact on a work environment. A Harvard Business Review of 140 leading executive coaches showed that while only 3% of coaches were hired to attend to the personal lives of executives, over 75% of the coaches found themselves assisting executives with personal issues - the 'whole' of themselves.
The "opponent within is more formidable than the one outside".
Just an option!
